日がな一日、神代植物園で楽しみました。I relaxed in a Botanical garden in a good autumn day.

のどかな秋の一日、久しぶりに神代植物園で過ごしてきました。

Chrysanthemum morifolium/ Florist's daisy/ キク
During a fine holiday in late autumn, I visited Jindai botanical garden and relaxed in there.

Aster microcephalus var. ovatus/ Japanese aster/ ノコンギク

Aster kantoensis/ カワラノギク

Chrysanthemum japonicum/ リュウノウギク

秋バラは少し時期が過ぎていましたが、立派な菊の展示を見た後は、秋の野菊や竜胆など野草を見て、温室で蘭の美しさに魅了されてきました。

Gentiana scabra var. buergeri/ Japanese gentian/ リンドウ

Rabdosia effusa/ セキヤノアキチョウジ

Autumn roses has already past there best time, but I admired a fine exposition of chrysanthemum and then enjoyed autumn wild flowers, wild aster, chrysanthemum, gentian and so on.

晩秋のジュネーブに行く機会がありました。I visited Geneva last week in October.

仕事の関係で、ジュネーブに行ってきました。街はすっかり晩秋の雰囲気で、遠くのアルプスは雪景色です。
I visited Geneva for attending meetings last week in October. The city has already in late Autumn atmosphere and Alps in distance has been covered by snow.

会議の合間に少しだけ植物園を散策しました。晩秋の雰囲気のなか、エーデルワイスやシクラメンがそっと咲いていました。

Leontopodium alpinum/ Edelweiss/ エーデルワイス

Cyclamen persicum/ Persian cyclamen/ シクラメン
During lunch time in meetings, I was able to ramble in a Botanical garden. In late autumn air, small pretty flowers such as Edelweiss or Cyclamen were blooming unobtrusively.

そして日本原産のヤマホトドキスも誇らしげに咲いていました。　

Tricyrtis macropoda/ Speckled toad lily/ ヤマホトトギス

I found also “Yamahototogisu”; speckled toad lily, were blooming proudly.
