プトラジャヤのピンクのモスク/ A Pink Mosque in Putrajaya

マレーシアで建設が進む新首都のプトラジャヤの中で一際目立つ、プトラモスクを訪ねました。その薔薇色の花崗岩からピンクモスクと呼ばれており、華やかなモスクです。

Putrajaya, a planned city and under construction as the federal administrative centre of Malaysia, in the city, I visited The Putra Mosque one of the most attractive place. The Mosque called a pink Mosque as constructed with pretty rose tinted granite.

短いマレーシア滞在で、今回はクアラルンプールにもいけませんでしたが、仕事の合間にちょっとだけ観光してきました。Just two-day stay in Malaysia and even no chance to Kuala Lumpur, I enjoyed as tourist in a couple of minutes between my duty.

欧州出張から戻ると日本はすっかり春でした。/ I now recognize that spring has come truely.

先週は、欧州の３カ国を実質３日で周るという強行軍でヨーロッパを回ってきました。
Last week, I visited European countries with very tight schedule, visiting 3 cities in 3 countries in 3 days,

最初に訪れた、アムステルダム郊外の施設の玄関にはマンサクの花が満開でした。
First day, I visited a institute near Amsterdam and found flowers of witch-hazel in front of a building.

Hamamelis japonica/ Witch-hazel/ マンサク

2カ所目のドイツ・ハノーバーでは、サンシュユの花がやはり満開でした。今年の暖冬で早めの開花だそうですが、このあとの寒気が心配だそうです。
I found a cornelian cherry was blooming in a garden after a meeting in Hanover, according to my friend this year earlier blooming by gentle winter climate but warrying to forcasted cold wheather in coming days.

そして3カ所目の、フランス・アンジェでは、シデコブシが綺麗に満開でした。日本を出るときには、日本ではまだコブシの花はまだ咲いていなかかったので、フランスのほうが早いのかと思って帰国したら、日本でもコブシの花は満開でした。
In third city, Angers, westside of Fence, star magnolia is full blooming, and I wondered the flower could be earlier than Japan, but I found in Japan also kobushi magnolia was bloomed, so it was almosy same.

カタクリの紫色に癒されます。 I feel relieved by light purple color of Asian fawnlily

春の妖精（スプリング・エフェメラル）の一つにあげられる、片栗（カタクリ）の花がちょうど見頃です。
最近忙しくて、少し心の余裕を亡くしかけていましたが、この儚げな薄紫色を見ると、少し心が落ち着き、また月曜から頑張ろうと思います。

Erythronium japonicum/ Asian fawnlily/ カタクリ

It can be the best time to watch flowers of Asian fawnlily, Katakuri, this species is called one of spring ephemeral. I have been no room in my mind to watch flowers since I was too busy, but I feel relieved by frail-looking light purple color. I can feel get some power to work from the forthcoming Monday.

片栗粉の語源になっていますが、今はほとんど食用に使われることはなく、片栗粉はジャガイモなどのデンプンから作られています。

A name of Japanese starch powder “katakuriko” is originated from this plant and used be to be produced, but nowadays, starch power still called “katakuriko” but is made by potato.

沈丁花の花が一気に香り始めました。/ Fragrance of Winter Daphne is spreading

今週は気温があがり、沈丁花の香りが一気に漂い始めました。最近少し忙しくて花を眺める余裕がなかったのですが、沈丁花はこの香りで春が来たことを告げてくれています。

Spring smell, good fragrance of Winter Daphne is now spreading in my town, since temperature is warming very shortly recently.I have been so busy and no time to watch spring flower but this flower taught me the spring her smell.
