カオヤイ国立公園 週末日帰り旅行（３）昆虫と植物編 / One day trip to Khao Yai national park (3), Insects and Plants

カオヤイ国立公園には昆虫など無脊椎動物は数千種、植物は約２０００種が生息しているという。
とはいっても、なかなか昆虫の姿もみることはできないが、その中で、結構目にするのが蝶。

It is said thousands of invertebrates including insects and about 2,000 plants species areliving in the Khao Yai national park. Having said that, it is very difficult to see wild insects in the park, but I could see some butterflies in the park.

特にビジターセンターの駐車場近くのちょっとした水たまりにも何種類かの蝶がやってきていた。なかなか名前まではわからないが、公園内で見かけた蝶（蛾も混じっていますが）の姿をお楽しみください。

Near car park in the visitor center, many butterflies were coming to tiny pool. I cannot exact names of them, please enjoy some pictures of butterflies and may be some mosses.

ご存知の方も多いと思いますが、蝶はとまると羽を閉じることが多く、内側のほうがきれいな色がなかなか撮ることができずに少し残念です。

You may be aware, many butterflies shut their wings when they are landing, and usually inside of the wings are much colorful than outside, so I am a little bit regret to say my photos cannot show pretty insides.

森の中では、セミの声が響いているが、その中に、ひときわ大きく高い金属音のような音色も混じっている、最初は木工所の電気ノコギリの音かと思ってしまったほどだ。ビデオではよく再生されていないけどお時間があれば、You-tubeの画像とともに聴いてみて下さい。

In the forest, you can hear songs of cicada and among them you can distinguish laud and high sound like a power saw, first I felt like in a sawmill. I am afraid the sound in a video cannot reveal sound well but if you have time to watch with forest picture in You tube.

森の中には、見たこともない植物が生えていていかにも熱帯の森という感じ。花をつけている木はそれほど多くなく、また地味な花が多いようにも思えた。実をつけている木は時々見かけたが、残念ながら名前のわからない植物が多かった。いくつかの植物の写真も載せておきますので良かったら見てみて下さい。

In the forest, I was able to find many unknown tropical plants some have flowers but not so colorful and some have fruits. I cannot find name of many these trees, but please enjoy to find unique figures of these plants.

カオヤイ国立公園には約７０種の哺乳類と７４種以上のは虫類が生息しているという。その中には、トラやウンピョウ、テナガザルなど貴重な動物もいるらしいが、めったにみることはできないらしい（ただ、早朝にテナガザルの鳴き声を聞くことはできるそう）。
また昼間でも、運がよければ野生象の群れや赤狼の狩りの場面も見られることもあるらしいが、残念ながら我々の前には出てきてくれなかった。

I heard around 70 mammal species and at least 74 species of herptile are living in Khao Yai national park and among them some endangered species such as Tiger, Clouded Leopards and Gibbons are included but hard to see (however, you may hear excellent morning wake-up call by Gibbons in early morning).
Even on the daytime, if you are lucky, you may see a herd of Elephants or Dhole are hunting on the grasslands, we were not able to see such remarkable animals.

昼間でも、シカとサルは良く見ることができるようで、シカ（なんというシカかは判らないが）はビジターセンターの近くで草をのんびり食べていたし、サルは道路脇に群れで出てきていた。サルたちは観光客からのエサを目当てに道路脇に出てきているようだが、野生動物にエサをやらないようにとの看板があちこちに出ていたし、危険なので窓は開けずに車から眺めるだけにした。

However , we could see common wild animals such as deer or monkey (macaque), although I am not sure their specific name of species. I found some deer are eating grass near the visitor center and macaques were coming just roadside. The macaques seeded to come for asking feeds for tourists since some signs showed “Do not feed wildlife” on the roadside. We were just inside the car and not open the windows.

ナイトツアーに参加すれば、塩なめ場所などに来る動物たちや夕方から飛び回るコウモリなど、夜に活動する野生動物の姿を見ることができるという。
公園内の道路には時々、象やコブラの横断注意の標識があったので、夜に運転して運がよければ（？）、これらの動物に出会うこともあるようだ。

If you can join a night tour escorted by official guides you can see much more wild life that would come to salt lick or flying bats searching for insects in the evening time.
I could see some signs on the road sides showing cautions such as “Crossing elephants” or “Crossing Cobra”, when you driving a car in night and if you are lucky(?), you can encounter such animals closing the roads.

大きな山を意味するKhao Yai 国立公園。バンコクの北東約２００ｋｍで標高４００ｍから１０００ｍくらいの山岳高原地帯で、バンコクに比べかなり気温も低く（年間平均気温２３度ぐらいで、行った日は昼間で２６度くらい）、日本人からはタイの軽井沢とも言われている。
車で行くと、まずゲートで入場料（タイ人は大人４０バーツ、子供２０バーツなのに対し、外国人は大人４００バーツ、子供２００バーツ。外国人でもタイのIDカードを持っていて交渉すればタイ人価格になる可能性あり←今回成功しました。それに車１台５０バーツの均一料金）を払い公園内に。
急な坂をしばらく上ると、下界を見渡せる展望ポイントに、吹く風がかなり涼しく感じられる。

　　

I visited Khao Yai national park (meaning big mountain in Thai) which is located in mid Thailand and in 400- 1,000m altitude mountain area about 200km north east from Bangkok. Average temperature is much cooler than Bangkok, it is said around 23 degree Celsius, and the day I visited was 26 degree in daytime. So, it is called as “Karuizawa in Thailand” by local Japanese.
When you go into the park by car, you need to pay THB 400 for adult and THB 200 in case of foreigners but you may pay THB 40 for adult and THB 20 for Thai people and THB 50 per car.If you have Thai ID card you can negotiate with officer at the gate, and I was able to enter as Local fare. After go through the gate and driving with acute slope more than 10 minutes,You can arrive a view point from where you can overlook land below and can feel cool window on your face.

展望ポイントからまた数キロいくと、公園内の生き物の情報展示やお土産物を売っている公園管理事務所（ビジターセンター）があり、ガイドツアー等の相談にも乗ってくれる。

Then after ten minutes drive, you can arrive a visitor center where you can see exhibition on wildlife and some souvenir goods as well as you can get information on guided tour and so on.

ビジターセンターの周りを少し散策して、Haew Suwat滝へ。ビジターセンターから１０分ほどのドライブで、駐車場のすぐ下にあり、公園内で最も有名で気軽に行ける滝。映画「ビーチ」のロケ地としても有名だとか。
滝つぼの近くまでも降りられるようだが、今回は斜め横の展望台で、マイナスイオンと涼しい風を浴びて、次の滝Haew Narok の滝へ。

I walked around the visitor center for a while, and visited first distination Haew Suwat waterfall. After 1ominutes drive, you can arrive a parking lot for the waterfall. The Haew Suwat waterfall is most popular and easy to go waterfall in the park and also famous as used in a movie “Beach”.
You can go to a pool under the waterfall, but I only visited view terrace near the waterfall. I enjoyed negative ion and fresh cool window and then left for next destnation.

Haew Narokの滝は、約１５０ｍの落差で公園内最大の滝、ビジターセンターから約３０ｋｍ・４０分のドライブで駐車場に行き、そこから、ちょっとしたジャングルの中を約１ｋｍの遊歩道を歩いていく。最初は比較的緩やかな上り下りだが、最後は滝に沿ってかなり急な階段を下りていく（当然帰りはそれを登って）。かなりハードだが、滝つぼ近くの展望台からはタイ語で地獄の淵という意味の迫力のある滝を見ることができる。

Another water fall I visited was Haew Narok waterfall which is largest fall with 150m height and meaning Chasm Hell in Thai. From a parking lot after 30-40 minutes drive from visitor center, you can enjoy around 30 minutes walk to the fall in the tropical forest. Almost all trail is gentle slope in the jungle or bridge over the river but last part is very acute steps alongside of 150m falls, you need to down to go to the terrace and climb up return. The last part was pretty hard but it is valuable to see a large high fall.

今回、カオヤイの滝を見るなら、雨期に入って水が増えてからのほうが迫力があるとの情報で、雨期を待っていってみた。確かに水量もあり迫力もあったが、水も濁っていて、ちょっとイメージとは違ったことも確か。ただ、この濁った川もまた熱帯らしいといえば熱帯らしい風景との思えるが。
ちなみに、Haew Narok滝の駐車場のところのレストランは営業してなくて、結局ビジターセンターまで戻って、少し遅めの昼食をとった。ゲートを通ったあとの公園内でランチが食べられるはビジターセンターのところだけのようだった。

I visited the park by information that says the falls have much water in rainy season and good to see. But same time clearness of water cannot be expected by the river in the rainy season, but it could be typical scene of tropical falls.
The day I visited, the restaurant at the parking lot of Haew Narok waterfall was not opened and I had to come back to visitor center to take lunch. It seemed the visitor center was only place to offer the lunch for visitors in the national park.

モーターバイクの風景（4） 交通法規は？/ How is a traffic regulation?; Scene of motor bike (4)

バンコクのバイクを見ていると、交通法規はどうなっているの？と思うことも多い。
平気で歩道をバイクが走ってくるし（特に大きな道の歩道を逆行して）、横に大きくはみ出して荷物を積んだり、ヘルメットをかぶっていない人も多い。

I always think how the traffic rule is regulated in Bangkok, particularly for motor bike.
Driving motor-bike on pedestrian way is usual scene, typically reverse run on broad way. Also I can see frequently a bike overloaded on carrier. And many people are riding on without helmets.

高温多湿のバンコクで、ヘルメットは大変だとは思うが、やっぱり小さな子供にはヘルメットを着用して欲しいなあと思う。

（何故かお父さんだけヘルメット着用？/ Why only dad wear helmet?)

I understand it could be unpleasant to wear a helmet in hot and humid air in Bangkok, but I consider that a small child should wear a helmet for their safety.

一応、ヘルメット着用は義務付けられているようだが、警官も結構、ヘルメット無しで乗っているので、これじゃ取り締まりもなあという感じ。
このいい加減さが、さすがタイという感じ。一応、交通警察は、きちっとヘルメットをしているみたいだが。

I understand wearing helmet is compulsory but even policemen sometimes driving or riding without their helmets, so it could be difficult to control this rule. Such looseness seems typical Thai style. It seems traffic police are always wearing their helmets, aren't they?

４回にわたり、日本では考えられないバイクの風景を並べてみました。

モーターバイクの風景（3） 色々な物を運んで/ Carrying many things; Scene of motor bike (3)

バンコクのバイクは人だけではなく、色んなものを運んでいる。普通のバイクでも、荷物満載で走っているバイクもよく見かけるし、運搬用に前に荷台を改造して色んなものを運んでいるものもよく見かける。

Motorbikes in Bangkok are not only carrying people but also carrying many things. Of course, you can see full loaded usual bike but also many modified bikes are carrying many goods in modified front part as carrier.

また、前と後に箒を積んだものや、サイドカーに人と荷物を積めるようにしたもの等、本当にいろんな形のバイクが見られて楽しい。

You can find bikes with full loaded brooms on all part of bike and with side-car for person or goods. It is very fun to see many kind of bike with many goods.

モーターバイクの風景（2） ２人、３人、４人・・・？/ Double, triple, quadruple and more?; Scene of motor bike (2)

バンコクで見かける、３人乗り、４人乗り、さらには５人乗り（？）。５人乗りの写真は残念ながら撮れなかったが、とにかくよくこんなに乗れるものと感心する。

（少しわかりにくいですが、前のバイクに４人、うしろのバイクに３人乗ってます/ 4person on right bike and 3 person on left bike)

You can see many double, triple, quadruple (or more) riding on motor bikes in Bangkok. I cannot take five people riding on a bike but I saw. I am surprised by seeing so many people riding on one bike.

（朝食を頬張りながら/ taking a breakfast）

特に朝夕は、学校の制服を着た子供を送っていく親やモーターサイの姿が目に付く。
バンコクの学校は学区制がないので、少々遠くても、よい学校に通わせようという親心のせいとか。

Particularly, many children with school uniform riding with their parents or on motor taxi can be seen in the early morning or evening. It is said there is no divided school area so parents are trying to enter their children into a better school even more far from their house.

交通法規がどうなっているのかわからないが、お巡りさんも見ても何も言わない。
小さい子供が、親やハンドルにしがみついている姿を見るたび、せめてヘルメットをと思うのだが。

（時々、運転手がすごく若い見えることも、下の写真の運転手は、小学生のようにも/Drivers can be elementary students?）

I am not sure traffic regulation, but I have never seen policeman stop such triple or quadruple riders.
I am always thinking they should wear helmets on their children whenever see children holding tightly their parents or hundles.

モーターバイクの風景（１） 女性の横乗り/ Riding sidesaddle on back seat of motorbike; Scene of motor bike (1)

バンコクでは日本では見られないバイクの風景がいくつか。
その中でも印象的なのは、後部座席の女性の横のり。特にモーターサイ（バイクタクシー；運転手のオレンジ色等のベストが目印）で、運転手に掴まるわけでもなく、バランスをうまくとりながら、乗っている女性の姿には感心する。
西部劇「黄色いリボン」に出てくるご婦人が馬に器用に横乗りしていた姿を思い出した。

I can see some unique scene of motor bike in Bangkok, it could not been seen in Japan.
One of the most impressive one is a lady on back seat is riding sidesaddle.
Particularly back seat of Motesai (bike taxi; you can easily distinguish with orange best). I am very impressed to see they are riding on backseats without grabbing drivers.
I remembered a movie scene in which a lady was riding sidesaddle on horseback elegantly in a “Yellow ribbon”.

中には、後に乗ってスマートフォンを操作する人や、よくサンダルが落ちないのかとこちらが心配になることも。

Sometimes I can see a lady using smart phone or her sandals are hanging on her foots very loosely.

モーターサイと知り合い(彼氏）の運転手では微妙に距離が違うのかなあ？

The distance between drivers and lady could be little bit different with bike taxi or not?

もちろん跨って乗っている人もいるけれど。
ほとんどの人が、左向けに座っているのは、右側にマフラーがあって火傷しないようにかな？

Of course not all ladies are riding on sidesaddles.
By the way, almost all ladies sitting on left side could be related with place of muffler (which is on right side),

路上の揚げバナナ売り/ Street vender of deep fried banana

車が信号待ちで止まると近づいてくる揚げバナナ売り。夕方の帰宅途中で小腹のすいた人が利用する。一袋２０バーツ。ほんのり塩味のついた衣と甘酸っぱいバナナの組み合わせがいい。

Street venders of deep fried banana are approaching to cars waiting traffic light. The venders are popular for people who feel a little bit hungry. THB 20 for one bag. Good combination of slightly salty batter and sour sweet banana.

早朝の托鉢/ Early morning donation to monks

通勤途中の早朝には、素足の僧侶が寺から出て托鉢に出かける姿が。
僧侶が通ると、通りがかりの人やお店の人が僧侶に喜捨（タンブン）を行う。僧侶に通る時間に合わせて来る人や、寺までタンブンを持っていく人も。
タンブン用の食事などのセットを売るお店もあるとか。

In early morning on my way to my office, I sometimes can see monks are going out from their temples for receiving donation,
When monks passing by, people on the road or shop keepers are willing to make their donation. Someone seems to wait for monks coming or someone visit to temples for donation.
I hear there are some shops on the streets which are specified to sell donation goods.

僧侶の中には、もらったタンブンを運ぶ小姓さんを引き連れている人も。こういう景色を見ると、仏教が本当に生活に浸透しているのが良くわかる。

Some monks are accompanied with servant for supporting to carry donations. I found Buddhism is well believed in Thai culture.

幸運のナンバープレート/ Lucky number of vehicle registration plate in Thailand

タイ人の数字へのこだわりは相当なもので、特に９や８（中華系）が縁起が良いと好まれるようだ。結婚式などを９時９分に開始したり、携帯電話も９や８の並んだ番号は高値で取引されている。何故か並びの良い数字の宝くじなども高く売られたりするらしい（当たる確率は同じなのに）。

特に車のナンバープレートは、一度その番号を取得したら、車を変えても一生使えるということもあり、縁起の良い番号のぞろ目など（例えば８８８、９９９９とか）は信じられないような高値で取引されるという。

それでは、少しだけ、本題にはいる前に、タイのナンバープレートについての説明しておきます。
/I would like explain a little bit on registration plates in Thai before writing main subject.

　　　　

上の３つの写真で、左が個人乗用車のナンバー、白地に黒文字のタイアルファベット（コーガイ）２つ（最近はそれに１数字を足した３文字のものも）と数字４桁まで。数字４桁だけではなくコーガイの揃いと発音も重要とか。２行目はバンコク都（タイ語ではクルンテープマハナコーン）を表わしている。
真ん中は個人用ピックアップトラック。白地に緑文字。２行目は東北部のナコンラチャシマ県を表わしている。
右は最近のオークションにより発売されたプレート。バンコク都のもので、背景に王宮とエメラルド寺院が描かれている。

Left plate shows private car white background and black letters, first two Thai alphabet (kokai) , and maximum four numbers. Second line shows Bangkok, krung thep maha nakhon in Thai.
Middle plates shows private pick-up truck, white background and green letters and second line shows Nakon rachasima province.
Right plates shows auctions plates with special background image customized for each province.

９９９の番号のフェラーリ/Ferrari with 999 plates

Thai people seems to have special feeling on lucky number such as nine or eight ( by Chinese Thai) very much such as they prefer to start happy ceremony like a wedding from 9 o'clock 9 minutes or they purchase luck numbers on their mobile phones. I cannot understand why they buy lucky number lottery higher prices than ordinal number although same chance to win.
Particularly, lucky number of registration plates is traded by incredble high prices since plate can be used life time and plate of repeated degits of lucky number such as 888 or 9999 can be the most expensive ones.

ただ、こういうラッキーナンバーの取引には不透明なところもあったので、１０年ほど前から新しいラッキーナンバーのプレートの販売は公開のオークションが行われており、調べた限りでは、２年ほど前に１千百万バーツの値がついたこともあるという。公開オークションで販売されたナンバーには、販売された都や県の絵柄がついており、直ぐに判るようになっている。同じ番号でも、やはりバンコク都のものが高く、地方のは安いらしい。

However, as the deal of such plates can be sometimes lack of transparency, newly registered lucky numbers are now traded in public auction since around ten years ago. I found the highest bit price could be recorded as THB 11 million about 2 years ago. You can easily find such auctioned number plates since they have pictures on backdrops showing famous scene of each province. The number plates of Bangkok city are much expensive than local municipals even same number.

一方、車の雑誌やホームページでは、ラッキーナンバーの販売がされており、人気の番号には数百万バーツの値段も付けられている。
街で見かける高級車には、こういったラッキーナンバーを付けている車が多い。車とナンバープレートを見れば、さすがにナンバープレートが車より高いということはないようだが・・。

On the other hand, you can buy lucky numbers by car magazines or web-pages but you need to pay more than THB millions for popular lucky numbers.
I can find some luxury cars with luck number plates and I understand price of car could be higher than number plates even such plates could be more than millions.

１番のプレートですが、ピックアップトラック（緑文字）なので、乗用車よりは安いようです。/This plate also number1 but for private pick-up track, so cheaper than ordinary car.

最後は少し珍しいプレート。０から始まる番号は普通はありません。高貴な方の車のようです。
Unique plate begins from 0, it could be car owned by noble person.

メラニン食器のバーゲン/ Big sale of melamine tableware

バンコクでも、色々なバーゲンセールが行われるが、今回はタイの有名なメラミン樹脂食器メーカーのsuperwareのバーゲン（半年に一回開催され、今回は５月３０日～６月８日開催）に行ってきた。
このバーゲン、バンコク在住の奥様方には３大バーゲンの一つとして有名なバーゲンらしいが、タイ人にも有名らしく、日曜日の昼過ぎに訪ねると、結構な人ごみ。工場の敷地内で行われているバーゲンはまさしく熱気に包まれていた。

I think there are many kind of sales in Bangkok, but I went to a big bargain of melamine tableware which is held twice a year by famous factory named superware. A sale of first half year is operated now from 30 May to 8 June 2014.
I heard this sale is very famous for Japanese living in Bangkok particularly for madam as one of the three big bargain in Bangkok, also popular to Thai people, the venue which seemed warehouse in the factory was full of heated air by many customers when I visited high noon of last Sunday.

このsuperwareというメーカー、世界中のメラニン食器のＯＥＭ生産のかなりのシェアを占めていて、ＯＥＭ生産の製品も含め、品質検査に不合格となったＢ級品を市場価格の３０％～８０％引きで在庫整理するバーゲンだとか。目当てのブランドがある人は、バーゲン初日から掘り出し物を求めて来る人も多いと聞くが、我々は、気に入ったデザインのものがあれば、買ってみようかと気楽な気持ちで日曜に訪ねてみた。

The factory named superware seems to have sizable share of melamine tableware production in the world including OEM production, and the clearance sale is selling B grade products discounted 30 to 80%. It is said Customers who have favorite bland rush to come in opening time but my wife and I visited without such enthusiasm but for looking for well designed goods.

バーゲン会場の工場は、バンコク西南部、チャオプラヤ川の川向こうのトンブリ地区の工場地帯にあり、行くのが少し難しいが、私たちは、ＢＴＳシーロム線のウォンウィアンヤイ(WongwianYai)からタクシーで行ってみた。タクシーの運転手に通りの名前(Suksawat soi36) を告げると、このセールことも知っていたようで直ぐに行ってくれた（約１５分、８０バーツ弱）。（帰りは、工場近くでタクシーをつかまえて、スクンビット・プロンポンエリアまで帰ってきたら、ラマ９世橋を渡ると以外に近くて３０分弱、約１２０バーツだった）。
普段は倉庫等に使っている工場内のバーゲン会場に色鮮やかな食器やトレー等が無造作に積まれていて、お客さんは黙々と気に入った品物を探している。会場には扇風機は置かれているがエアコンはないので、かなり暑く、すぐ汗だくになってくる。

商品の横は、もう工場の機械が/ Factory machines just back of goods

The factory is located in south-west Bangkok and opposite side of Chaopraya river from downtown, and located in industrial zone so little bit difficult to go with public transportation. We visited there by a taxi from WongwianYai station of BTS Silom line (15min drive and fare was THB80). When I told address of factory to a taxi drver, he seemed to know the sale.
After the sale, I could return to Sukhumvit/ Prompong area by a taxi I caught near the factory by around 30 min drive with THB 120. I found distance from the factory was not so far when we went through Rama IX bridge.
In the venue, I found many tableware and house-ware with blight color were piled up in containers in an offhand manner and many customers were looking for their favorite goods without speaking much. There were some funs but no air-conditioning so I was soaked with sweat soon.

人気キャラクターやセンスの良いデザインのものや、フードコートや社員食堂用の会社のロゴの入ったものとかもあって、まさに掘り出し物を探す感じで結構面白い。売られているものは、Ｂ級品ということだが、明らかに版ずれをおこしているものからどこが問題なのか判らないものはさまざま、慣れた人は、とりあえず自分の籠に入れて、レジの前のスペースでじっくりと検分してから買っている様子。
値段は、数バーツの小さなスプーンのようなものから数十バーツくらいのものが中心。我々が買ってきたのも３０前後のバーツの皿やコップ、８０バーツくらいの水差しまで、ほとんど１００バーツ以下のものだった。

会計前に品物の最終チェックをする人たち/ Final checking before cashiers

There were many kind of printed pictures on tableware from beautiful design ,popular cartoon character to logos of food court or canteen of famous enterprise, so it was very fun to find unexpected goods. It was said all goods were B-grade which was not passed quality control, but some goods could been identified bad places although some goods were easily identified as misprint. Some people may be very familiar with this sale had checked very carefully selected goods in front of cashiers before paying.
Prices were mainly from THB 5-7 for small spoon or fork to 50-60 for medium dishes and cups. I bought some dishes and cups around THB 30 or a pitcher with around THB 80, and less than THB 100.

ちなみにバンコク在住日本人（特に奥様方）に人気の３大バーゲンとは、絹製品で有名なJim Thompsonと、ギフトと家財道具のバーゲンBIG+BIH(The Bangkok International Gifts and Bangkok International House ware Fair）のことのようだが、この２つはBITECというエアコンの整備された見本市会場（BTSバンナー駅から無料シャトルバスで５分くらい）で行われるため行き易い反面、掘り出し物を探し出すという雰囲気はこのsuperwareのバーゲンが一番かもしれない（それに単価も安いし・・・）。

As I wrote three big bargain sale in Bangkok above, other two sales are by Jim Thompson famous silk products and BIG+BIH(The Bangkok International Gifts and Bangkok International House ware Fair）, and these two sales are held in BITEC, air-conditioned international exhibition center near Bang-na station BTS sukhumvit line. But I think this sales by superware was the most exciting sales for buying unexpected goods with cheaper prices.

ラヨーン県、週末日帰り旅行（その３）シーフード編/ One-day trip to Rayong province (3) seafood

週末に別の記事を載せたので、少し間が空きましたが、ラヨーン日帰り旅行の記事は今回の記事で最終回にしたいと思います。
水族館を見学して、午前中に果物で満腹になったおなかも少し空いてきたので、水族館の近くのビーチの見える眺めの良いレストランで少し遅めのランチを取ることに。のんびり食事できるかと思ったが、運悪く？２０名ぐらいの団体がパーティをやっていて、注文した料理がなかなか出てこない。

I will finish a report of one-day trip to Rayong province by writing on sea-food after a couple days break with other topics in week end after previous related articles.
As I felt a little bit hungry after I visited a aquarium although I ate fruits too much with full of my stomach in the morning, I went to a restaurant with good view of beach near the aquarium for taking late lunch. As a late hours for lunch, I was thinking I could take a lunch with relax manner but, unfortunately (?), the restaurant had a group guest more than twenty people having a party and I had to wait and wait my ordered dish to be served.

昼下がりで暑かったのでビールを頼もうとしたら、午前中にドリアンをかなり食べたから、止めた方がよいと家族に反対され、しぶしぶコーラを注文。コーラをちびちびと飲みながら待つこと約１時間弱、やっと一皿目の魚介類の焼き物の盛り合わせが。（長く待たされ、やっと出てきたので、かなり食べてから、慌てて写真を撮ったので、料理が少し減ってます）

I also tried to order a bottle of beer since it was very hot high noon, but my family strongly opposed me to order the beer because I ate pretty amount of durian in the morning. And I reluctantly ordered a bottle of coke instead. After I waited around one hour with drinking coke a little by little, finally our dish, mixed grilled sea food was served, sorry I took a picture after we ate partly since we forgot to take a picture for a while, before enjoy meal.
その後しばらく待ったが、何も出てこない。どうも次に頼んだシーフードチャーハンは忘れられているような・・・。確認すると、何も作っていないとの返事。この感じでは、また時間がかかりそうなので、もう会計を頼んで店を後にすることに。

And then again we waited and waited next dish, but I found our ordered sea food fried rice was forgotten to cook. So I canceled our order and asked them a bill.

食べ物を待つ間、ボオーッと海のほうを見ていると、時々砂浜を車が走っていく。最初は４ＷＤ車だけかと思っていたら、乗用車も普通に走っていくし、結構波打ち際に近いところまで走っていくのも。
食事の後に、浜に行って見ると、細かい砂が締まっていて、能登の千里浜海岸に似ている。千里浜ほど長くはないようだが、車で走れる砂浜のようだった。

While we waited our dish I watched a beach in front without thinking anything but I noticed cars run on the sand of beach sometime. I was thinking these cars should be off-road vehicles with 4WD but later I found they were normal usual cars and some cars went to on the shore. After our late lunch we went to the beach and I found a beach well-packed with fine sands and similar to Chirihama beach on Noto peninsula in Japan where famous for long driving beach road.

レストランの食事では満腹になれなかったので、ビーチ沿いの魚屋さんでエビを買い、屋台でお土産用に買った焼き鳥（ガイヤーン）とエビの塩焼きをつまみに、家でビールを飲んで充実の日帰り旅行の終了。

Since I could not feel full stomach in the restaurant, I bought fresh prawns at fish market on the beach and grilled chicken at street vender. I enjoyed grilled salted prawn and chicken with cold beer in my house for finishing one-day trip to Rayong province.

反クーデターデモには絶対に近づかないほうが/ You should not be involved in anti-coup movement.

反政府デモがクーデターで解散した後、バンコクでは各地で反クーデターデモが行われており、本日（６月１日日曜日）も、伊勢丹などにも近い繁華街のラチャプラソン交差点や戦勝記念塔等各地でかなり大規模なデモが予定されており、軍・警察が封鎖し衝突する可能性も危惧されている。
反政府デモの時は、参加者に対する警察等の対応も比較的穏やかで、外国人観光客等もお祭り気分で参加する姿も見られたが、今回のデモは、ある意味軍に対する抗議デモなので、参加者に対する軍の対応は当然厳しいことが予想される。一昨日にプラユート司令官が英語の字幕付で注意喚起をしたことも考えれば、外国人といえども拘束監禁される可能性があることを十分に考えたほうが良いと思う。

After the anti-government protestants had been dissolved by the coup d'état, many anti-coup movements are operated in Bangkok and they will be organized in many places in Today, 1, June 2014 including Ratchaprasong intersection near Central world, Victory monument an so on. Army and police will try to close these areas but it might be happened some (and severe) conflicts there.
In case of anti-government movements, control by police was not so restrict and many foreign tourists could be seen joining them with casual feeling like a festival, however we should consider meaning of joining to anti-coup is completely different to army and police. Also considering a announcement by Gen. Prayuth with English subscribe day before yesterday, we should consider possibility even foreign tourists could be detained into custody.
