卒業式（タマサート大学）/ Graduation ceremony Thammasat university

法学・政治学の名門校タマサート大学の卒業式の日にキャンパスの近くを通りかかった。普段は静かなキャンパスの周りには、卒業生を祝福する花束やぬいぐるみ、風船などの卒業式グッズを売る屋台が所狭しと立ち並び、本当にお祭り騒ぎ。キャンパスの中では、各大学で色や形が決まっているという独特のマントを羽織った卒業生が、友人や家族などとあちらこちらで写真撮影会。普段からポーズをつけて写真を撮るのが大好きなタイ人が、気に入った構図で晴れ姿を撮ろうと、キャンパス内は大混雑。

At the day of graduation ceremony, I passed by a campus of Thammasat University, a most famous university of politics and laws in Thailand. I found many vender stall were selling special goods for celebrating graduates such as bouquets, stuffed toys, balloons and so on surrounding roads of the University which is usually very calm, but was like a festival on that day. In the campus many graduates wearing unique mantles of which shape and color is different from each University, were taking pictures with friends and families in every places. Since Thai people love to strike a pose for their pictures, many people try to find good place for favorite backdrop, so it was a kind chaos and jubilation in the campus.
